The effect of lifestyle modification on metabolic, anthropometric parameters and hirsutism score in polycystic ovary syndrome

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder that affects women of reproductive age. It characterised by several clinical signs and symptoms, including hyperandrogenism, ovarian dysfunction, chronic anovulation. Obesity imbalances can be reduced in PCOS modifying lifestyle habits. The effects changes on were investigated, it was found consuming less fat engaging physical activity metabolic disturbances. purpose this study to examine the modifications parameters, anthropometric hirsutism score as they relate pathogenesis PCOS. This involved total 10 patients diagnosed with at Sultan Agung Semarang Islamic Hospital. Blood glucose, triglycerides, HDL (high density lipoprotein), blood pressure, waist circumference, score, vital sign data related measured before after 4-month treatment. patients' fasting sugar levels, triglycerides (TG), high lipoprotein (HDL), scores, pressure (systolic diastolic), circumference averaged 92, 60; 48.10; 96.90; 10.5; 121.5/77; 86.80, respectively, baseline (pretreatment). After four months treatment, average levels sugar, high-density lipoproteins, 108.7, 50, 99.8, 7, 122.3, 82.7, 87.50, respectively. Changes led significant variations parameter but not lipoprotein, or pressure.
